At Music Around (the “school” herein), we strive to create a positive and respectful environment for everyone. To maintain this, we may need to refuse or discontinue services if someone doesn't follow our school policies, behaves inappropriately, misses payments, poses health or safety risks, misuses school property, engages in illegal activities, or doesn't cooperate with instructors. We aim to handle such situations with fairness, including providing warnings when possible. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to talk to us so we can find a solution together. By enrolling, you agree to these terms.

A non-refundable registration fee of $60 applies to both new and returning students.

Students are considered returning if they have more than 30 calendar days between lessons. This fee is applied to all plans, except for stand alone lesson.

Tuition payments are final and non-refundable.

For the safety and well-being of all students and staff, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to inform Music Around management of any underlying medical conditions (including allergies, seizure disorders, etc.) or behavioral conditions (such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, etc.) that may affect a student’s participation in lessons or group activities. This information allows our teachers to be properly informed and prepared to provide the most supportive learning environment possible. Failure to disclose such information may limit our ability to accommodate the student effectively.

To request a rescheduled lesson due to a student’s absence, we require at least 24 hours' written notice (via email) before the scheduled lesson. Lessons canceled or missed without the 24-hour notice will not be eligible for a makeup and will be charged to the account.

Bundle Plans:

• One cancellation is permitted within a 30-day period.

• The makeup lesson must be completed within the same 30 days.

• A makeup teacher will be assigned by the school based on availability.

Monthly Plans:

• No makeup lessons or rescheduling options are available.

If your assigned teacher is not available during the specified lesson/class time, the school will assign a substitute teacher from the faculty pool.

If a parent, student, or guardian notifies the school about stopping lessons—or if there’s a break of 30 calendar days since the last attended lesson—their reserved time slot is automatically forfeited. Please note that we can’t guarantee the same time slot will be available if the student returns in the future. A $60 registration fee will apply to all Returning Students who wish to secure a new lesson time, pending studio and teacher availability.

For Bundle Plans, we allow only 1 day/time change per 3 months, pending instructor and/or studio availability.

For Monthly Plans, we allow 1 day/time change per 6 months, pending instructor and/or studio availability.

Bundle and Monthly plan require ACH (routing and account number) or credit card on file (3% fee applied). The default payment method on file will be charged on due dates. By enrolling you authorize these payments.

To stop auto-renewal (cancel) please send a written (email) request before the designated time periods:

• 30 days before the end for Monthly Plan

• 7 days before the end for Bundle Plans

The school reserves the right to photograph and video record students for training, promotional use, and security purposes. Please note that students may be included in media taken during regular school activities or security footage. If you prefer your child not to be included in such media, please contact the management to discuss your preferences. We respect students' reasonable expectations of privacy and will take appropriate measures to address any concerns.

Students and their parents/guardians are responsible for their personal belongings during school activities and agree not to hold the school, its teachers, staff, interns, or volunteers liable for any loss or damage.

Parents/guardians agree to release and indemnify the school from any claims, demands, or legal actions related to injuries or damages incurred while participating in school activities. This includes attorney fees or costs associated with any such claims.

By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept the inherent physical risks associated with training and permit instructors to use appropriate physical contact to provide corrections in line with standard artistic practices.

Parents/guardians authorize the school to arrange necessary medical treatment for students during school activities and assume responsibility for all related costs. They also agree to release the school from any liability arising from such medical care.Item description
