Music Around Programs

• Foundations Music School lessons are designed for beginners and the youngest students, providing a fun and supportive introduction to music without the need for an audition. These lessons focus on building fundamental skills in an engaging and encouraging environment. To ensure steady progress while keeping students excited about learning, we recommend a 30-minute lesson once a week, allowing them to develop their musical abilities at a comfortable pace.

• Contemporary Music Conservatory lessons are designed for dedicated students seeking a structured and immersive learning experience. Lessons are available in 45 or 60 minute duration, providing ample time for in-depth instruction, personalized guidance, and focused practice. This format is ideal for students committed to advancing their musical journey with expert instruction and a well-rounded curriculum.

• Our flagship SoCal Jazz Academy program focuses on group collaboration, rooted in jazz language and improvisation. Students develop their individual skills while learning to interact musically in an ensemble setting. Through guided improvisation and performance, participants dive into the fundamentals of jazz, preparing them for dynamic, collaborative performances. Enrollment requires either an in-person or pre-recorded audition.
