Recital Fee

• $60 for private students

• $30 for group class participants

• Friday, May 8, 5pm

Dress & Attire

• Students should wear neat, performance-appropriate clothing such as a dress, nice shirt with pants, or other semi-formal outfit with closed-toe shoes. Music Around and SoCal Jazz Academy T-shirts are always welcome!

Teacher Pre-Approval

• All recital participants must be pre-approved by the teacher based on artistic readiness, preparedness, performance continuity, and stage composure.

• Students who are not approved by their teacher will not be eligible to perform in the recital.

Program Placement

• Students are placed in recital programs by the Director based on age, level, and program flow. We’re unable to adjust performance times to fit personal schedules — thank you for understanding!

• One performance per registration, you must re-submit and pay fee for other entries (additional instrument and/or private and/or group class).

Payment

• Recital fees are non-refundable and will be charged to the payment method on file once written registration notice is received by the front office.

• 3% processing fee applies if you are using a credit card as the default payment on file.

Accompaniment

• An accompanist(s) will be provided at no extra charge when needed and available. You must communicate to the teacher whether you need one. Accompanist must have clearly legible printed and taped sheet music in your key.

• We will not have access to printer, email, wi-fi, phone and/or iPad links/downloads or any media previously or presently sent/delivered or otherwise promised other than printed and taped music in hand by registration closing.

Group Classes

• If not all class members can participate, the group may be restructured with volunteers or teachers to keep the performance balanced.

Photo & Video Release

• Our recitals are public events that may be photographed and recorded. By registering, you grant permission for images and videos to be used for school promotions. If you prefer not to have your child photographed, please do not submit the registration form.
