Nadya Trofimova holds a BA in Music and Psychology from Hunter College in New York City and has over 10 years of experience teaching group music classes for children. Her teaching style emphasizes fun and creativity through singing, basic solfeggio, movement, group interaction, and rhythm games like drum circles.

At Music Around, Nadya leads the early childhood education initiative with Snap Squad, a program designed to introduce our youngest students (ages 2–8) to rhythm, melody, harmony, and the basics of jazz swing and improvisation in a joyful, collaborative environment.
