After a lifelong career in engineering and audio technology, Mr. Fucinari is channeling his passion for music and craftsmanship into high-quality instrument repair services as part of his retirement journey. With decades of experience as an engineer, musician, and consultant, he brings a unique and expert perspective to the care and restoration of musical instruments.

Raised in a musical family—his father a concert director and Maestro—Mr. Fucinari began playing woodwind instruments at an early age. While working as a stagehand for the Detroit Concert Band in his youth, he picked up foundational skills in instrument repair, setting the stage for a lifelong connection to both music performance and technical precision.

He attended Cass Technical High School in Detroit where he began his formal training in electrical engineering and expanded his musical reach to bass guitar and bass violin. Though his early aspirations included becoming a recording engineer and synthesizer designer, Mr. Fucinari ultimately spent 50 years in the computer and audio engineering industries—bringing advanced design, reliability, and innovation to firms such as QSC Audio, Acoustic Research, and Alcon Surgical.

In his current role, Mr. Fucinari offers repair and restoration services for:

• Woodwind instruments (e.g., flutes, saxophones)

• Guitars and basses

• Amplifiers and audio gear

• Keyboards and other electronic instruments

He also maintains a small inventory of instruments available for loan or sale to support students and musicians while their primary gear is being serviced—recently assisting Carli by loaning a Yamaha Alto while her instrument was under repair.
